一人暮らしのゼペットじぃさんは、木でつくった人形に【ピノキオ】と名づけ、星に「自分の子どもになりますように…」と願いをかける。するとブルーフェアリーが現れ、魔法でピノキオに命を授け「勇気を持って生き、正直で優しければいつか本当の人間になれる」と言い残して去って行く。 学校へ通うようになったピノキオだが、いろいろな誘惑に惑わされてしまい…。

両親と2人の弟、そして愛犬とともに平和に暮らす13歳の少女ウェンディー。ある晩、彼女の前にピーター・パンと名乗る不思議な少年が現われる。ピーターに誘われたウェンディーは、弟たちとともに、永遠に子どものままでいられる魔法の国“ネバーランド”へ向けて旅立った。その地で楽しい冒険を繰り広げる一方、ウェンディーは一向に成長せず、恋する気持ちも理解できないピーターに物足りなさを覚えるようになる。

本編はお城に嫁いだシンデレラのその後が舞台となっており、シンデレラに魔法をかけた妖精のおばあさんがシンデレラの物語を聞かせていく。お城に嫁いだシンデレラが初めて取り仕切ることになった晩餐会の話、ねずみのジャックが人間に変身してさまざまな人間たちとの交流を描いた話、シンデレラのお姉さん・意地悪なアナスタシアが町のパン屋の主人に恋をしてしまう話の3本立てで展開される。そして話を聞かされたジャックやガスは、それらの話を本にしてシンデレラにプレゼントすることを思いつくのだった。

Ella lives in a magical world in which each child, at the moment of their birth, is given a virtuous "gift" from a fairy godmother. Ella's so-called gift, however, is obedience. 初めて“夏”のメインランド（人間の住む世界）を訪れた時、ティンカー・ベルは『妖精さん ようこそ』と書かれた札の書かれた“妖精の家”を見つける。“妖精の家”に入ったティンカー・ベルは、“妖精の家”を作った少女リジー・グリフィスに捕らえられてしまう。忙しくて相手をしてくれない父親に寂しさを感じていたリジーとティンクは次第に心を通わせていく。一方、妖精の仲間たちは、捕らえられたティンクの救助にやってくるが、今度はヴィディアがリジーの父親、グリフィス博士に捕まってしまう。

ピクシー・ホロウのはずれに冬の森があると聞いたティンカー・ベルは、禁じられた境界線を越えて冬の森を訪れ、そこで自分にそっくりな冬の妖精ペリウィンクルと出会う。仲良くなった二人は、お互いの住む村や森に相手を誘うようになるのだが、そんな行動がピクシー・ホロウに重大な危機を招くことになるなど、まったく気がついていなかった。
