ある日の真夜中、酔っ払って寝ぼけたのび太のパパ・のび助がスキーと海水浴が同時に楽しめるというブリキンホテルに部屋を予約する。その話を聞き、春休みはどこにも旅行に行けないと諦めていたのび太は大喜びし、みんなにも自慢してしまう。しかし、それがパパの夢だと知ると、すっかり落胆してしまう。ところが、翌日、野比家の玄関に見知らぬトランクが置かれていた。トランクから出現した門を抜けると、そこはブリキンホテルの建つブリキのおもちゃの島、ブリキン島であった。 ホテルの人々に手厚くもてなされ、のび太とドラえもんは島で遊んでいたが、やがてのび太がわがままを言い出す。ドラえもんは渋々ひみつ道具を出して説明を始めるが、のび太はそれをろくに聞きかずに操作を始めてしまう。暴走した道具によって、のび太はその場から猛スピードで走り出し、行方をくらましてしまう。呆れ果てたドラえもんは「未来へ帰る」と叫ぶものの、しばらくしてのび太の捜索を開始する。しかし、突如として現れた謎の飛行船から電撃を受けた彼は、そのままさらわれてしまう。 ひみつ道具の暴走から開放されたのび太は、ドラえもんの「未来へ帰る」という発言を思い出し、本当に怒って帰ってしまったのではないかと不安になりながらホテルに戻る。そして「決して入るな」と言われた地下室にうっかり足を運んでしまう。そこには物々しい声を発する不気味な扉があり、すっかり気味が悪くなった彼は、二度と島へは訪れないと心に決めてトランクを仕舞い込むのであった。

A mostly-deserted island, which is believed to be the home to the fountain of youth, is off the coast of Florida. The island gets some visitors in the form of a teenage boy band, "the Wild Ones", and their gang of swimsuit-clad young people, who head there in a crowded powerboat ostensibly for a scavenger hunt.

King Louis XIV's quest for immortality leads him to capture and steal a mermaid's life force, a move that is further complicated by his illegitimate daughter's discovery of the creature.

A story that imagines how these real-world phenomena may be related. In this story, startling amateur video and photographic evidence, as well as additional audio recordings, suggests whales weren’t the only creatures affected by the Navy’s sonar. The film follows the two scientists who tracked the whale beachings for years and delivers first-hand, on-camera accounts of what they claim to have discovered in the aftermath of one particular beaching.
