Lakshmi is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives with her family in a small hut on a mountain in Nepal. Vincke and Verstuyft are one of the best detective teams of the Antwerp police force. The film finds Yuki involved with a group of political rebels and anarchists after the Peace Preservation Law was passed in 1925 and walks a fine line between black humor and severe cruelty.

The bamboos reach the river Kushiara through hundreds of these channels. Here, the trunks are bundled - a giant raft arises. Then the long journey begins.
