宮崎駿監督が「ハウルの動く城」以来4年ぶりに手掛けた長編アニメーション。海辺の町で暮らす5歳の少年・宗介は、クラゲに乗って家出した魚の子ども・ポニョに出会う。すぐに仲良くなる彼らだったが、ポニョはかつて人間だった父・フジモトによって海に連れ戻されてしまう。ポニョは父の魔法を盗んで再び宗介のもとを目指すが……。アンデルセン童話「人魚姫」をモチーフに、人間になりたい魚と少年の心温まる交流を描いたファンタジー。

Nick cannot stop obsessing over his ex-girlfriend, Tris, until Tris' friend Norah suddenly shows interest in him at a club.
