遺伝子工学者ブルース・バナーは、実験装置の事故で大量のガンマ線を浴びてしまう。命に別状はなかったが、以来、彼は何度も強い怒りに我を忘れそうになり、ついにその怒りがピークに達した時、彼は怪力を持つ巨人ハルクに変貌する。その後もブルースは何度もハルクに変身するが、我に返ると自分が引き起こした惨事に苦悩する。実は元をたどれば同じく遺伝子工学者だった彼の父デヴィッド・バナー博士の研究に端を発していた。

前掲のように、”近未来の京都で生まれた、人とロボットの奇跡のラブストーリー”である。公式サイトでは、恋人であるハルと死別したくるみのもとへ、「ロボハル」（ハルによく似たロボット）ことキューイチ（Q01）が赴き、心の支えとなる旨のストーリーとされている。しかし、実際には、帰らぬ人となったのはくるみであり、恋人を失ったハルは心を閉ざし、自分をロボットと思い込む。ハルは「ロボハル」としてくるみのもとへ赴き、キューイチはくるみとしてハルを出迎える。

鳳学園に転校してきた男装の美少女・ウテナ。かつての恋人である冬芽と再会した彼女は、そこで彼と同じ薔薇の刻印のついた指輪を手にする。その指輪を持つ者は、"薔薇の花嫁"と呼ばれる美少女・アンシーを賭けて、決闘ゲームに参加しなくてはならない。そして、そのゲームに勝利すれば、彼女とエンゲージし"永遠があるという城"へ行くことが許されるのだ。女性であるウテナは巻き込まれるようにゲームに参加するも、生徒会副会長の西園寺、フェンシング部キャプテンの樹璃と対決し、次々と勝利を収めていく。こうしてアンシーとエンゲージすることになったウテナは、彼女を"外の世界"へ連れ出そうとする。だが、巨大な洗車ブラシに取り込まれ、自動車にされてしまうウテナ。アンシーはそんなウテナ・カーに乗り込むと、追手を振りきり閉ざされた世界からの脱出に成功するのだった。

This film was made in the 35 mm format with an aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and at a speed of 16 frames per second. At that rate, the 17 meters of film length provided a duration of 46 seconds, holding a total of 800 frames.
