覆面作家集団「GoRA」とアニメーション制作スタジオの「GoHands」がタッグを組み、「王」と呼ばれる存在と、その下へ集う特異能力者たちの戦いを描いたオリジナルアニメーション「K」の劇場版。小説や漫画で発表されているストーリーや書き下ろしのオリジナルストーリーをアニメ化し、順次劇場公開する「K SEVEN STORIES」のエピソード1で、「赤の王」周防尊と「青の王」宗像礼司の出会いと激突を描く。「吠舞羅（ほむら）」のリーダーとして、鎮目町の裏社会で勢力を伸ばしつつある周防と、「青の王」となるや対能力者治安組織「セプター4」を再編し、秩序回復に乗り出した宗像。すべてが異なる2人が出会ったことで、激突が生まれる。「K SEVEN STORIES」の一作でもあるスピンオフショートムービー「ザ・アイドルK」が同時上映。

10-year-old Bart Millard lives with his mother and abusive father Arthur in Texas. One day his mother drops him off at a Christian camp where he meets Shannon. Upon his return from camp, Bart finds his mother has left and movers are removing her belongings. He angrily confronts his father, who denies that his abusiveness was the reason she left.
