物語はスカイウォールという巨大な壁で三つに分断された仮面ライダービルドの世界に、仮面ライダーエグゼイドの敵であるバグスターが出現する謎から始まる。存在しないはずの敵がなぜ居るのか。正体不明の敵に為す術なくその場に崩れる戦兎の眼前には、体の半分がメカに覆われた奇怪な人物が佇んでいた。科学者を名乗るその男が巨大なマシンを起動させると上空に突如として逆さになった世界が出現した。一方、エグゼイドの世界でも同じ現象が勃発。スカイウォールのある世界が、地上へ刻一刻と迫りくる。二つの世界が激突するまでに残された時間は、わずか24時間。消滅へのカウントダウンが始まった。

地球でテディベアに寄生した綿状生命体は、自分をブースケと呼ぶ響子を守ること誓う。そんな彼らのもとにロリータファッションに身を包んだ夢子が現れるが、何をやってもダメな彼女にブースケは自分と一緒に響子を守るよう命じる。やがて人類滅亡の危機が迫り響子が窮地に陥ったとき、夢子とブースケが合体し新ヒーローヌイグルマーに変身する。

会社をクビになり実家に戻った賢三が、１年前に自殺した高校時代の同級生、美甘子からの手紙を発見する。そこに記された意味深な言葉に悩む彼は、美甘子にあこがれていた冴えない青春期を回想していく。

Edogawa Rampo is a writer whose latest work is censored by the government, deemed too disturbing and injurious to the public to be allowed to be published. However, after burning his drafts, his publisher shows him a newspaper with an account of events just like his forbidden story. As the film progresses, fantasy and reality intermingle in a tale that draws heavily on influences from Poe and Stoker's Dracula. The film's strongly Expressionistic direction skillfully combines a variety of media (animation, computer-generated imagery, grainy black-and-white fast film stock, color negatives) for artistic effect.

A meteor lands in Japan and the fallout creates a “shield” around Tokyo, encasing the city in a foggy darkness. A state of martial law is declared. People are in a panic as violent crime and corruption spreads throughout the region and punk gangs are ruling the streets. As if things weren’t bad enough, a chemical reaction from the meteor unleashes a deadly virus and now the dead are coming back to life as flesh-eating zombies!

A "documentary" that explores the myth of the Human-Faced Dog. The legend of the Human-Faced Dog goes all the way to Tokugawa era Japan. In stories, the Human-Faced Dog is initially mistaken for a normal, mangy dog, but as the unlucky passerby gets closer the human features become apparent. Sightings are always at night, and the dog, if approached, will morosely tell people, “Leave me alone”. The Human-Faced Dog took on a new life in more recent times, its peak of popularity in the late 80s and early 90s, where it was claimed to have been seen on highways, chasing cars at enormous speeds and causing car crashes.

塩野陽平は東京の大学生。ロックバンドを組み、ボーカルとして活躍していたが、実家の寺を継ぐために弟の郁生と田舎の禅寺・明軽寺に入ることになる。しかし彼を待ち構えていたのは厳しい修行の日々であった。個性あふれる先輩坊主たちに囲まれながら毎日を送る陽平の元に、かつてのバンド仲間のアツシがやって来る。そして陽平の恋人だった真朱がつきあい始めたと聞かされる。不安に陥る陽平の前に、真朱が現れる。
