Poppy is a celebration of Victorian values and exposes the hypocrisy, racism, drug dealing, money worship and sexual repression of the time through its favourite entertainment form, pantomime. Dick Whittington, his man Jack, Sally the Principal Girl, the Dame, two pantomime horses, a flying ballet, a transformation scene and even the traditional song-sheet are all brought on to tell the serious and finally devasting story of the single most profitable crop of the British East India Company.

Janet and Brad Majors, unhappily married, are separated after appearing on a game show. Janet becomes a superstar while Brad is thrown into a mental hospital. But what does fast food magnate Farley Flavors have up his sleeve?

'30年代、禁酒法下のニューヨーク。ダウンタウンの暗黒街では、ファット・サムとダンディ・ダンとの抗争が激化していた。ハンサムなバグジーは、歌手志望の娘ブラウシーと恋におちるが、サムの店のスター歌手タルーラはバグジーに気があるようす。バグジーは抗争に巻き込まれていくが…。 出演者はすべて子供という異色のギャング・ミュージカル。

大戦中のヨーロッパ戦線を舞台に、連合軍のならず者たちが繰り広げるアクション・コメディ。連合軍のアメリカ兵ケリーは、捕虜の敵軍将校から、とっておきの情報を引き出した。それは、ドイツ軍占領下のフランス銀行に千万ドル単位の金の延べ棒が保管されているということ。彼は早速ビッグ・ジョーら仲間を集めて金塊の強奪計画を練り、現地へ出発する。奇襲作戦などで敵の防衛網をくぐり抜けていくケリーたちは、次々に味方を失いながらも戦線を突破。そして、ついに戦車で厳重ガードされた目的の銀行へ辿り着き、金の延べ棒をめぐって激しい攻防戦が開始されるのだが…。
