Pop music comes to Knohult and Åsa-Nisse has a new invention that makes his hens lay their eggs to the beat of the music.

Åsa-Nisse's brother Julius returns home from USA, apparently very rich. Also, Åsa-Nisse och Klabbarparen takes care of a little child which leads to all sorts of complications.

"Love on Tour" - A traveling theatre company has arrived at an outdoor stage. They are ready for the rehearsal. But one of the actors is missing.

"Two Women" - Cecilia is in hospital after being subjected to an attempt on her life. Her husband is called to the hospital. Cecilia deliriously mentions a mutual friend. The husband seeks out the friend.

The actor Robert Berg is just about to get his dream role on the big stage in Stockholm when he gets called to the military service.

"His Majesty's Rival" - A young man, Lars Hjelm, returns home after being in Italy on a scholarship from the Swedish king, Gustaf III. On his way home he meets with opera singer Antoinette and fall in love with her. His fiancee Eva expects him home any day.
