Laxmi Chhaya

A 1982 Indian Bollywood film directed by Sisir Mishra and produced by K. K. Arya. It stars Raj Babbar and Smita Patil in pivotal roles. It was based on a family drama of Odisha Brahmin family, uncivilized casting systems at that time and about the blame between husband and wife in family.

Both of them meet, fall in love, promise to help and marry each other. After the truck ride, they board a goods train bound for Bombay, but during the journey both get separated. A few months Raju finds out that Tarna is now known as Meenakshi, a movie actress.
