バラエティー番組の放送作家・三村修治は多忙な日々を送っていたある日、末期のすい臓がんで余命６か月と宣告されてしまう。ショックを受けながらも家族のため何ができるのか考えた彼は、自分の代わりに家族を支えてくれる人を見つけようする。そこで、以前一緒に仕事をしたことがあり、今は結婚相談所の社長である知多かおりに、自分がこの世を去った後の妻の結婚相手を探してほしいと頼む。

高校時代に夢中になって読んでいた本「フェアリーゲーム」について、何となくインターネットで検索をしてみた伸行（玉森裕太）。「レインツリーの国」というブログに書かれた「フェアリーゲーム」の感想に興味を持った彼は、その管理人を務めるひとみ（西内まりや）にメールを送付する。それを機に、メールをやりとりするようになる二人。実際に会って話がしたいと考える伸行だったが、ひとみはその申し出を拒否し……。

A beginning editor, Odamachi, slips back in time to the year 1973 and meets Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka, then, is out of luck. He has failed in animation business. His company has gone bankrupt. He has declined in popularity. Tezuka in front of Odamachi is in the miserable situation. Still Tezuka never loses his energy for creation. He cuts out sleeping and continues drawing manga. Odamachi is gradually involved in such Tezuka’s energy and encounters various people who support Tezuka, including Kabemura, an editor who trusts and waits for Tezuka till he finally receives manuscripts. Fun and excitement of creation are surely in Tezuka’s atelier. Focusing on how “Black Jack”, the watershed work for Tezuka, is created, and how Tezuka challenges to make animations again. The drama depicts Tezuka’s way of life. ~~ Based on manga series "Black Jack Sousaku Hiwa - Tezuka Osamu no Shigotoba kara" by Yoshimoto Koji and Miyazaki Masaru.

観光の促進を円滑にするために高知県庁は「おもてなし課」を設立。若手職員・掛水（錦戸亮）を中心としたメンバーたちが何をすべきかわからず困惑していると、地元出身の作家・吉門（高良健吾）から役所気質と民間感覚のズレを痛烈に批判される。発奮した掛水は柔軟な発想力を持つアルバイトの多紀（堀北真希）と共に、本当のおもてなしを見つけ出すべく奔走する。

宝塚～西宮北口間を約15分で走る、えんじ色の車体にレトロな内装の阪急今津線。その電車に、さまざまな“愛”に悩み、やりきれない気持ちを抱えながら、偶然乗り合わせただけの乗客たちがいた。後輩に婚約者を寝取られたOL。カレシのDVに悩む女子大生。息子夫婦との関係がぎくしゃくしている老婦人。セレブ気取りの奥様たちとの付き合いに疲弊する平凡な主婦。おしゃれな大学になかなか馴染めない地方出身の男女。年上の会社員と付き合いながら、憧れの大学を諦めきれない女子高生。電車内という限られた空間で、それぞれの人生がほんのちょっと重なり合い、影響し合い、そして離れていく…。

Hanako is a mother, who was not enthusiastic when her husband took in two foster children some years ago. He died not long afterward, leaving her alone to care for the youngsters, Koya and Torataro, a task that she rose to with a passion. As the two boys graduate from high school, Hanako has become not only a devoted parent but the neighborhood's most reliable mother in the Osaka style: strong, responsible, irreverent. After the two boys leave school they also leave home, though Torataro continues to work in the family factory. Koya secures employment at a restaurant, where he is forced to put up with the bullying of an older colleague. Unable to take it any more, he runs away, and Hanako and Torataro look for him. They eventually find him pursuing his dream of becoming a professional musician.
