中華民国初期、辛亥革命によって清王朝が倒れたものの、西洋列強による侵略や国内の内乱で、軍閥たちによる私利私欲の争いが繰り広げられていた。登封市(現河南省鄭州市)にある少林寺の僧侶たちは、おびただしい数の犠牲者の中から、まだ息のある人々を救助していた。逃亡した敵の大将を追い、馬に乗った軍人たちが少林寺に土足で踏み込む。粗暴で傲慢な将軍で独裁者・侯杰が少林寺の中で敵の大将を無残に撃ち殺し、少林寺を愚弄して去る。しかし、腹心の部下・曹蛮の裏切りに合い、そこで流れ着いたのが、かつて独裁政権時代に愚弄した少林寺だった。

Falsely accused for cheating in a martial arts competition, two boyhood friends are banished from their Shaolin Temple and go their separate ways. As adults, they join opposing sides in a civil war. When one betrays the other, they settle their differences mano-a-mano.

Wuwechimato journeys to China to learn Chinese kung fu but finds himself on board a boat filled with Japanese pirates whose only mission is plunder and pillage. When he intervenes on behalf of an adolescent Chinese girl about to be kidnapped, he is targeted by the pirates while also assumed by the Chinese villagers to be one of the pirates. Only when the girl hides him and teaches him some of her language, does he manage to convince other important villagers of his innocence.

For martial arts enthusiasts and fans of Jet Li, Yang Ching, and Wang Chun, this historical filmography about the origins of Chinese martial arts, the legendary Shaolin Monastery, and modern kung fu will prove to be an irresistible treat. The documentary is told through two fictional characters, Instructor Wang and Hong Kong sports reporter Ms. Chin Chin, who chance to meet in a park. Ms. Chin Chin is writing a story about the history of martial arts and so Instructor Wang offers to help. Together they visit the Shaolin Monastery and view a weapons demonstration by the monks.

Ninja Over the Great Wall takes place in the early nineteen-thirties when China was occupied by the Japanese imperial forces. Wa Chi Keung is a peasant who escaped the mass murder of his village by the Japanese. He joins his master in Bejing shortly before the old man's assassination by ninjas.

少林寺総本山は、清王朝の陰の実力者・赫索の武道弾圧政策によって南北二派に引き裂かれた。荒らぶる大自然を師と仰ぐ驚異の武術“北拳”の勇者・智北は、少林寺総本山の恨みを晴らすべく、日々鍛錬に明け暮れていた。ある日、智北は、引き裂かれたもう一方の“南拳”と力を合わせようと南へと旅立つ。一方、南少林寺からも、南拳最強の男・智南が送り出される。ふたりは互いに協力し合い、全武道統一と王朝打倒の悲願達成に挑む。

昔、中国の鳳村の川のほとりに、中国武術の武当派の鮑家と少林派の天龍家が住んでいた。鮑家には8人の娘が、天龍家には8人の息子がおり、両家の間にはいざこざが絶えない。実は天龍家の主とその弟はそれぞれ鮑家の長女、次女と密かに想い合っていたが、鮑家の主が武当派の技を盗まれることを恐れて天龍家との交流を禁じているため、結ばれずにいた。

中国・隋朝の末期、東都に鄭王・王世充が、暴政の限りを尽くしていた。武術家として名高い「神腿張」は捕らわれている仲間達を助けようとするが、逆に返り討ちにあう。神腿張の息子である小虎も重傷を負いながら命からがら少林寺まで逃げ延びる。少林寺の門前で力尽きた小虎は小林武僧らに介抱される。父親の敵を討つ為、小虎は仏門に入門し、曇宗和尚の元、少林拳の修行をする。修行期間中、白無瑕という一人の少女と出会う。
