In 1604, Miyamoto Musashi attacked the Yoshioka family at their dojo and defeated master Seijūrō and his younger brother Denshichirō in two duels. To save their reputation, the Yoshioka family decides to fight back with all 100 family members and hire an additional 300 samurai. Now Musashi sets out to defeat all 400 enemies in his most famous battle.

Released as part of a Neo Action double bill with Tsujimoto Takanori's Hard Revenge, Milly, Kaneko Isao's The Masked Girl follows the giddy action adventures of a high school superheroine called upon to battle supreme evil. On the way home from school one day, high school girl Hoshino Ai (Shimizu Yuki) gets kidnapped by an evil crime organization called Joker, led by devil incarnate Black Maria (Sato Aiko). Ai manages to escape with the help of teacher Aoyama (Kida Tsuyoshi), but realizes she's gained superhero powers after being genetically modified by Joker. She reveals her problems to friend Yumi (Nakamura Shizuka), only to discover that Yumi also been genetically modified and brainwashed to serve Joker. Friends become foes as Ai is forced to fight Yumi, but that's only the beginning of the battle. To take down Black Maria and Joker, Ai must trade in her sailor skirt for superheroine threads, and become The Masked Girl!

母を亡くして寂しい毎日を送る少年・透は、ある日浜辺で奇妙な卵からかえった子ガメを見つける。透はカメにトトと名付けて家に連れ帰るが、食堂を営む彼の家ではペットは厳禁。父に見つからないようこっそりとトトを育て始める。そんな矢先、なんとトトが空中に浮かび上がり、しかもその現場を年上の幼なじみ・麻衣に見られてしまう。彼女は、トトが33年前に人間を守った伝説の怪獣、ガメラの子どもではないかと言う。
The camera sometimes runs with him, sometimes captures him from a bird's eye view, sometimes stirs him up, and sometimes gives him a live feel that is as intense as the protagonist's tension. The high degree of freedom of the camera eloquently captures the protagonist's inability, to be honest. The use of a hand-held camera to capture the scene of the mountain disaster is also effective and memorable.

Script
T and K are so close that they are said to be homosexuals. T has a steady girlfriend named T, but things are not going well. The two meet in a park, where they meet Yoko, the singer of a folk group, and Yoko and K have a secret attraction. Meanwhile, T-girl is trying to get back together with her old boyfriend. In the midst of such a mundane group of high school students, T's malice and Yoko's sudden mistake. Some just stare at the blank time of grace in front of them. This film, produced by a large group of people, is a comedy with a high sense of humour and thoroughly sophisticated dialogue.
