A none dialogue film about a young woman called Sukran, who has an accident when she is 10 years old and stays crippled for the rest of her life. Throughout the film, she seeks to create a common ground with other people. Despite her hunger to do so, she fails with people of the opposite sex, and so turns to her own gender. Again, she meets with failure; and again, she is knocked sideways. Just like all of us, Şükran keeps looking helplessly for ways to communicate with other people until the bitter end. Her helplessness may not be the exact same to our own helplessness as spectators, but they are indeed in very close proximity.

A young man leaves his work and his girlfriend behind for a while and leave for Anatolia. After a short while, he found himself in a friendly village in an idyllic and farce mountain village. After a while, he realizes that he will no longer be able to return to the village. In fact, he made an inner journey towards his own past and his true personality. From now on, his view of himself and life will change.

Kaan and Mete, who have a holiday in Olympos with a crowded Kadiköy group, travel to Istanbul with their engines. Two people are accompanied by two unexpected guests on their journey. This journey, which they do with various plans, shows them that the journey and the relations are not as planned at all.

Tas (Rock) is a film that presents a cross-section of the life of a family living a hard life in the countryside. It is a touch of sadness in the life of people living in nature- even as a part of it. And that life is nothing more than the waiting of a woman and man who lost their son. After waiting for many years, the family tries to get rid of the uncertainty by believing that the wounded man they found at the door is Selim (Ahmet Varli), their son.

Studying engineering and dreaming to go abroad with the Erasmus project to leave behind his small town, Ali is going through a period of self-exploration, asking questions about life. His quiet life is stirred up upon his crush to Gülce, a singer at a folk music cafe. Gülce is a nursing student and to get by, she works as a caregiver to a lonely, elder man in one of the older neighbourhoods of the town. As Ali gets to know Gülce, he becomes involved in the old man’s story too. Ali goes on his search on the threshold of this encounter, asking a question to which he wouldn’t find an answer to: is any happiness possible?

Shadows and Faces tells the story of a young girl who is separated from his shadow puppetry performer father during the ethnic conflict between Cypriot Greeks and Cypriot Turks in 1963.

A middle class young man rebels against his father’s brutish authority and seeks a rough romance with a woman of ethnic minority. Yuce’s moral tale draws from the example of today’s Turkish youth and the timeless shadow of fathers over sons.

A brother and sister are split up after their mother dies, their father remarries, and their new stepmother rejects them.

Told from the perspective of two children, and in four parts which run parallel to seasons, The Small Town describes the relationships between members of a small-town family. Both brother and sister witness the complexities of the adult world, as well as the mysteries of life and nature.
