群馬県沼田市。パラコート入りの牛乳で牛乳配達の少女が重態となる事件が起きた。その牛乳の配達先のアパートに住む真咲直子・真子姉妹が狙われていると確信した片山はアパートをかぎ回る。しかし、痴漢扱いされて留置所へ。替わりに張り込んだ同僚の金井は、真咲姉妹の部屋の前に不信な影を見て執拗に追うが車に跳ねられ死亡した。直子が勤めるナイトクラブに出かけた片山は、酔客にからまれた真子を助ける。だが、姉妹は騒ぎを聞きつけて来た警官に彼を引き渡した。
