Choi Hong-man (최홍만) is a South Korean kickboxer, K-1 fighter, traditional Korean wrestler, and MMA champion.  He has also acted in movies and guest-starred on television programs.

Tadano is assigned by the chairman Kurokawa to protect and check the personal affairs of a young idol, Sylvia , who is the main character at the "Flower Earth Festival 2008" organized by Denodo. Sylvia has been threatened by someone to resign from the main character role. Tadano starts investigating while supporting Yamanishi, the event organizer. However, Tadano is struck down by a mysterious giant of a man. Yamanishi, who has obtained important information, is murdered, and Sylvia is kidnapped. Tadano realizes that Anzai, Yamanishi's right-hand man who has been eyeing the chairmanship, is the mastermind behind this. Tadano rescues Sylvia and brings her to the event venue.
K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Tokyo Final

K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Tokyo Final was a kickboxing promoted by the K-1. The tournament qualifiers had all qualified via elimination fights at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Osaka Opening Round. Losing fighters Musashi and Ray Sefo were invited as reserve fighters while Badr Hari and Paul Slowinski would face one another in a 'Super Fight'. Peter Aerts and Melvin Manhoef were also invited to the event as reservists. As well as tournament bouts there were also a number of 'Opening Fights' primarily involving local fighters, fought under K-1 Rules. In total there were eighteen fighters at the event, representing ten countries.
Yarennoka!
The Techno Goliath
Yarennoka! was a MMA event that took place on December 31, 2007 at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan. The event was promoted by the Yarrenoka! Executive Committee, composed of former Pride Fighting Championships executives, and held in association with FEG, DEEP, and M-1 Global. It was headlined by a fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Hong-Man Choi. The undercard showcased many top lightweight fighters and was also marked by a marquee matchup of the Pride 2006 Welterweight Grand Prix Champion Kazuo Misaki and the Hero's 2006 Light Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion Yoshihiro Akiyama.The event was a farewell show to Pride fans after their acquisition by the Ultimate Fighting Championship in early 2007. It is also credited for inspiring the former Pride executives and the FEG to create the new fight series, Dream.
