After a few years of work in the industry, Jesús Mora (Madrid, 1964) debuted in the direction with A tiro limpio (1996), the version of a Spanish policeman of the sixties, and two years later directed the documentary Arrebatos, which relives the filming of the film by Ivan Zulueta. With My Sweet (2000) returns to fiction to tell the story of two sisters faced, halfway between the drama and, again, the police plot. Operation Algeciras (2004) documents the impossible attack that was intended to end the Falklands war. In the three characters live off-site, with the clear intentions and the wrong course, fought with a law that banishes them. With Villa Tranquila (2007), Jesús Mora climbs one more step in his approach to the territory where cinema and life meet, because for him life and cinema can only be the same.

Spring, 1982. During the conflict of the islands Malvinas, a secret command of the Marine Argentina, comes to Spain with the mission to sabotage the British Base of Gibraltar across the Embassy in Madrid. A few events that they have to see with Spain in the times of the government of Bald man Sotelo, during the conflict that faced the United Kingdom and Argentina. The history is narrated and reconstructed by his own protagonists who reveal a few facts palmed to the public opinion and to the justice.

Laura is a fifteen-year-old teenager who receives a letter from her mother, of which she had no news a decade ago. Laura decides to try to go to Holland to meet her, in need of answers and alternatives to the hostile environment that surrounds her. For that, he will have to face Angela, his older sister, a young policewoman who, as a child, was forced to take the reins of the family when she was orphaned. Angela will try, by all means, to keep Laura with her and not be alone. Little by little the violence that surrounds him will make him lose control.
