江戸時代、海坂藩の近習頭取・兼見三左ェ門は、藩主・右京太夫の失政の元凶である愛妾・連子を3年前に城中で刺し殺すものの寛大な処分によって再び藩主に仕えることに。亡妻・睦江のめいであり、身の周りの世話をしてくれる里尾との日々の中で生きる力を取り戻す。

『カケラ』（英題：A Piece of Our Life）は、2009年製作の日本映画。原作は、桜沢エリカの漫画『LOVE VIBES』。 奥田瑛二の長女、安藤モモ子の初監督作品。 恋人との関係に疑問を抱き始めた女子大生ハル（満島ひかり）はカフェでカプチーノを飲んでいると、リコというレスビアンのメディカル・アーティスト（中村映里子）に声をかけられる。クリーニング屋を営むリコの家に行くなど交流をもつ間に、二人の間には愛が芽生える。男との関係を清算できないハルを居酒屋で批判するリコ。二人はしばらく絶交状態に。そんな中、リコは自分の顧客である山城陶子（かたせ梨乃）をゲイバーで発見する。リコと陶子はしばらく付き合うが、ハルから電話があり、リコとハルが復縁。しかし、世間体を気にせず愛情表現をするリコへの戸惑いをハルは隠せない。そして･･･。

Suzuki Sora is a cheerful country girl from the small town of Bie. She made a promise to her father, and following this promise applies and is accepted for a magic intership in Tokyo, where she will face the life in a big city. While training to get better with her magic, she meets a mysterious boy also practicing to become a mage. While he can not use magic that well and he seems distant and cold at first, Sora’s fate intertwines with his and the two are thrown together, learning a lot of new things about life and each other.

A couple years have passed, Matsuzaki is divorced and has a daughter and is still up to his old compulsive gambling, boozing and womanizing even as he stares middle age in the face. At his daughter's school he meets a teacher who's similarily obsessed with horserace betting and who's also frigid - something he does his best to therapize. He also reconnects with his ex-wife, who just so happens to be the literary agent and love interest of another writer of the gambling genre. An epic gambling battle between the two ensues.

An anthology film based on the works of manga artist Yoshiharu Tsuge. The main character in all four segments is a fledgling cartoonist named Tsube .
