He was a singer, known for his collaborations with superstar Dalida, and an actor, known for First Desires (1983) and The Hypothesis of the Stolen Painting (1978). He died on December 14, 2011 from lung cancer in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône, France
