Liam traces back to the site of his former band’s defining performances, incorporating all-new interviews, behind the scenes and concert footage captured from 20 camera positions. The film explores and seeks out stories and perspectives from collaborators and fans from diverse generations from around the world, transposing the emotional and social context of the 90s’ shows versus the tumult of our current era.

2日間で25万人超を動員した当時の野外コンサートの動員記録を更新した＜オアシス＞史上最大規模の野外ライブ。チケットは1996年5月11日に発売され、地元のレコード店やチケット売り場には一晩中行列ができ、世界中のファンが一日中電話にかじりついてもなかなか予約電話は繋がらず！すべてのチケットは24時間以内に完売し、英国のあらゆる興行記録を更新。主催者は、イギリスの人口の2％以上がチケットを購入しようとしたことから、バンドはその2～3倍のチケットを販売できたと推定。そして今でも語り継がれる90年代最大のコンサートが実現した。

1980年代に英国マンチェスターで結成され、マッドチェスター・ムーブメントの中心的存在として活躍したロックバンド“ザ・ストーン・ローゼズ”。本作は、自身も熱狂的ファンという「THIS IS ENGLAND」のシェーン・メドウス監督が、96年の解散から15年ぶりに再結成されたストーン・ローゼズの奇跡の復活に密着した音楽ドキュメンタリー。メンバー４人の再会から地元マンチェスターでの凱旋ライブまでを中心に、そのリハーサルやバックステージ映像とともに、過去のアーカイヴ映像を交えつつ、彼らが歩んできた道のりと現在の姿を映し出していく。

Digitally remastered 20th Anniversary edition of the classic debut album from the Manchester quartet, originally released in 1989. Meshing simple, exceedingly catchy hooks with rhythmic beats, The Stones Roses led the UK's so-called Madchester scene straight into the U.S. with their eponymous debut. The Stone Roses achieved one of the most successful fusions of classic Pop songwriting and Acid House culture, and managed to snare fans from both genres. By the end of 1989, their debut landed on many Top Ten lists for that year. Though the band never realized the same triumphs on their second and final album, repercussions of their debut album's classic pop songwriting and bright riffs could be heard well into the next decade.

One spring, Mole decides that he can ignore the spring cleaning for a little longer, and begins a series of adventures with his new friend Rat. They go for a picnic on the riverbank, on a caravan expedition with Toad, until Toad switches allegiance to his new car and his reckless driving makes Mole and Rat search out Badger for help in curbing Toad's profligate habits. But Toad gets away from them and gets a 20-year sentence from the magistrate for theft, reckless driving, and Gross Impertinence. While Toad works his wiles on the jailer's daughter and escapes jail dressed as a washer woman, Badger tries to guard Toad Hall from the machinations of the Weasels and is badly beaten. And it requires a plan of attack and all four comrades to regain Toad Hall.
