The story of Dulce, a mother who has encounters with apparitions inside her old house. She must decipher a mystery that could trigger a prophecy: the death of her family.

The movie is set in 1942 when the United States begins an espionage program in South America due to the potential thread of Nazis submarines in the Caribbean. Venezuela though not officially at war against the Axis powers had been supplying oil to the allies during the Second World War. Frank Moore (Herrera), an Hispanic American spy, travels to a small town in the Caribbean coastal area of Venezuela where he meets Venezzia (Rodriguez), the wife of a Venezuelan commander Enrique Salvatierra (Romero), and they both begin a romantic relationship which will make them forget the reality of a world at war.

Three friends, actresses from Colombia, Venezuela and Cuba, first met while acting in a soap opera. Years later, they meet again for vacation in a farm in eastern Colombia. Sitting around a bonfire and thanks to the arrival of an unknown cowhand, they begin to tell frightening stories.

His name is Francisco de Miranda and, to be exact, is the largest globetrotter who has known the Americas, Miranda has a reputation as an inveterate wanderer, an eternal conspirator, a turncoat, a conqueror of nobles and courtiers, a lover of asylums, libraries, prisons and brothels, has written 63 volumes of his autobiography, a friend of princes, military and world-renowned artists, collector of women and unthinkable dreams, restless fugitive, owner of ten different names, and presented by the British press the moment as the future liberator of Spanish America.

The film follows the events of the night of February 4, 1992 in Caracas, Venezuela. That night a group of military rebels staged a coup d'etat. Venezuelans found themselves as virtual prisoners. As the coup starts and fighting takes place from a military base which is in the center of the city's most affluent areas, with both luxury high rises and palatial mansions. The area of La Carlota provides a wealth of very interesting, often flamboyant and typical characters of the Latin America upper middle and upper classes. They are among the most affected. Various vignettes in these different characters' homes are developed. These people's reactions, lifestyles, vices, and humanity come out in a very honest fashion under duress.
