Karlskov is a self made, successful owner of a large electronics factory, has a wife and five children. They live the good, privileged upper-class life on Strandvejen north of Copenhagen when the Nazis occupy Denmark in April 1940. Karl struggles to continue production at the factory, but to protect his family and employees he reluctantly begins to produce for the German market. It brings him into a controversial collaboration with the occupying power and causes painful breaks in the family.

Nuka, a young drag queen from Nuuk, and his best friend Lu, a cool DJ and electronic musician, go on tour with their drag show to the remote hunting settlements along the coast to prove that you can be a cool performer, Greenlandic and gay at the same time. Apart from doing the show, the two young men hope to bring some life into the sleepy small town atmosphere that reigns. However, people are not quite ready for them yet, so the boys are confronted with a lot of opposition, but their black humor makes them go on.

This very alternate and visual interpretation of the fate of Miyamoto is brought into a mixture of contemporary Yakuza underworld and a hypnotic Samurai after-life. We flow seamlessly between through life, death, rebirth and the afterlife and challenge our traditional definition of the past, present and future. The film explores the agonizing and painful processes that go through the shattered mind of Miyamoto, as he desperately tries to hold on to the only thing he has left - The rapidly fading memories of his undying love for a woman named, Otsu. A love that for a Yakuza-Samurai is strictly forbidden and which will prove to have catastrophic consequences.
