Intended as a television portrait of the transgender artist Eli Leven, it is a psychedelic docu-fiction, a hybrid movie inspired by Derek Jarman's Sebastian.

Through beautiful childlike dioramas and vivid bedtime stories, director Vibeke Bryld complicates George W. Bush’s simple-minded characterization of North Korea, Iran and Iraq.
