CMディレクター樽見の初監督作品は、連合赤軍による同志リンチ事件を描いた小説『光の雨』の映画化だった。そのメイキング撮影を依頼された若手映画監督・阿南は快諾し、オーディションからカメラを回し始める。若手俳優たちは阿南のカメラに向かって、30年前に実在した、自分たちと同世代の革命闘志の心情がうまく掴めないことを語る。キャストが決定し、撮影はいよいよ本格的にスタート。吹雪吹き荒れる極寒の地・知床での合宿ロケが始まった。だが“総括”シーンの撮影が続く中、樽見監督が現場から突然姿を消してしまう……。
