'30年代、禁酒法下のニューヨーク。ダウンタウンの暗黒街では、ファット・サムとダンディ・ダンとの抗争が激化していた。ハンサムなバグジーは、歌手志望の娘ブラウシーと恋におちるが、サムの店のスター歌手タルーラはバグジーに気があるようす。バグジーは抗争に巻き込まれていくが…。 出演者はすべて子供という異色のギャング・ミュージカル。
