ある暗く陰鬱な夜、常日頃は影に潜んでいるモンスター ・ハンターたちがリーダーの訃報を受けブラッドストーン邸に集う。亡きリーダーを偲びつつ、強力な遺品の相続人を決めるため、出席者たちが参加を余儀なくされたのは命がけの競技。勝利のためには危険なモンスターに立ち向かわねばならない。

He decides to search for the treasure alone, but Roland Blood (Jim Carter), a dealer in naval antiquities, is not far behind. Croft follows the clues on the map from a castle to a church to a seaside promotory and finds the spot where the treasure was buried is the site of a new beachside housing development. He tries to buy the house, but his bank manager does not look kindly on his proposal and his wife is about to discover that he re-mortgaged her home. He decides to take drastic action…

He can commit the most enjoyably revolting deeds, then return to his laboratory and use an antidote to change back to his original form, so that his lofty persona remains untarnished.
