神坂一の小説を原作にした人気アニメシリーズの劇場版第4作。地方都市のコルドロン・シティで楽しく食事の時間を過ごしていたリナとナーガの頭上に、ドラゴンに乗った少女が飛来してきた。少女の名はマレーネ。マレーネは強引にカルバート城の開門を迫り、城を守る兵士といざこざを起こす。リナが、うるさいマレーネを撃退するのを見ていた兵士たちは、領主のロード・カルバートにぜひ会ってほしい、とリナに懇願するが…。
