家族とともにオランダ北部の島にバカンスにやって来た11歳の少年サム。思春期で多感な日々を送るサムは、島の少女テスと出会う。少し謎めいて快活なテスに、サムは淡い想いを寄せる。そんな折、サムはテスから秘密を打ち明けられる。彼女は死んだと教えられてきた父が生きていることをSNSで発見し、母に内緒で島に招待したのだという。父が島に来たら娘だと名乗り出るというテスの計画を手伝うことになったサムだったが……。

Their sluggish life is brutally disrupted when their new eupeptic neighbor Marcus awakes Kirk and deteriorates the relationship between mother and son. Ineke doesn’t trust the intruder and begins an investigation and discovers some dark secrets.
