幼いころはスポーツで神童と騒がれたがけがで進む道を失った拓也(岡田将生)は、リンゴ農園を営む両親のもとを離れて東京で暮らしている。彼は大学生活の傍らバンド活動に熱中しプロを目指して挫折し、自分に苛立っていた。ある日、久々に帰郷した拓也は「父親が大好きだったころの自分」と出会ったことで、両親の愛情に気づく。
