仲良し3人組の男の子がちょっとしたいたずらをするはずが、大失敗して警察も駆けつける事件を引き起こしてしまい、彼らはトラブルから逃れるためにとっさに“リッキー・スタニッキー”という架空の人物をでっちあげて罪をなすりつける。ディーン、JT、ウェス（ザック・エフロン、アンドリュー・サンティーノ、ジャーメイン・ファウラー）の幼なじみの親友3人組は、20年経った今でも、自分たちが何かやらかした時の便利なアリバイとして、架空の人物リッキー・スタニッキーを使って難を逃れている。だがある日、不審に思った彼らの妻やパートナーに、とうとう“伝説のリッキー・スタニッキーに会わせろ”と要求され、これまでさんざん罪を犯してきた3人組は思案の末、有名人の物まねをする落ちぶれたいかがわしい俳優ロック・ハード・ロッド（ジョン・シナ）を雇い、彼にリッキー・スタニッキーになりすましてもらうことにした。しかし、予想を超えてロッドが一世一代の大役を果たしすぎ、彼らのコントロールが効かなくなった時、彼らはリッキーを最初から発明しなければよかったと思い始めるのだった。

DJ Casualty is trying to get a foothold in the market. He sets out to make a track inspired after being on the scene of a motor accident involving young drink driving friends. Casualty attempts to record and sample sounds at the car accident site, seeing an opportunity in creating a soundtrack around the events of the night.
