In the summer of 1978, Hiroshi, a high school student, is so inspired by "Star Wars" that he wants to film a giant spaceship himself, so he builds a miniature one with his best friend, Yoshio, and films it with his 8mm movie camera. Terao, a camera shop clerk, suggests turning it into a narration, so he decides to make a short film to be screened at the next school festival and asks his friend Sasaki, a film fan, to help him develop a script. As he learns that his movie camera has the ability to film backwards, he comes up with a story called "Time Reverse", in which aliens attempt to reverse time on Earth in order to redo human evolution. Natsumi, a girl from his classroom, agrees to play the heroine at the last minute, so he can finally start filming it.

とある“壁ドン”映画の撮影現場で、監督やスタッフからこき使われる、助監督・黒澤明 名前だけは”巨匠”で“一流”だが、断れない性格で要領の悪い、B級ホラーを愛するただの気弱な映画オタク。 いつか自分が監督として撮ることを夢見て、書き温めていた脚本「ゴーストマスター」が心の支えで、常に肌身離さずに持ち歩いていた。 しかし、あまりに過酷すぎる撮影現場でうっ積した黒澤の不満と怨念のような映画愛が、この“脚本”に悪霊を宿し、撮影現場を阿鼻叫喚の地獄へと変えていく。

A troubled teenager who is about to kill herself has a life changing encounter with a female vampire.

It is not Tag. It is not Battle Royale. It is Battle Royale Tag. Sena walks up to the school rooftop to return Yudachi's handkerchief. Yudachi is not there and Sena falls asleep waiting. It is dark, she is confined and locked up at her school when Sena wakes up. The school has turned bloody red and the girls have to fight to the death. Who will survive the carnage is up to the girls.

先の見えない戦争の最中、作家は酒場で働く女性と一緒に住むことを決めた。だが、幼少時代に遊郭に売り飛ばされた彼女は体を重ねても喜びを感じられず、二人は絶望のふちで互いの体を狂ったようにむさぼり合った。一方、中国戦線で片腕をなくして帰国した男は、精神的後遺症から性行為ができない体になっていた。

母親からの過干渉や暴力にさらされ、つらい日々を送っている20歳のカオリ。石山という男に惹かれた彼女は、それを機に母親のもとを離れようと決心する。一方、大手企業の役員秘書として働く、40歳の香織。彼女は引きこもりの娘を持ち、自身も万引きや行きずりの情事を繰り返すなどの問題を抱えていた。彼女は河内という刑事と出会ったのをきっかけに、自分が境界性パーソナリティ障害ではないかと考える。カオリと香織、関係のないように思える二人の運命が意外な形で重なり合っていく。

クローン技術が発達した近未来の日本。不慮の事故で殉職した宇宙飛行士・高原耕平は合法的にクローンとして蘇る。 しかし記憶のコピーに失敗したために記憶障害を起こし、幼い頃に自分のせいで双子の弟・昇を死なせてしまった記憶ばかりが頭から離れなくなる。 クローン再生の失敗を隠蔽したい影山所長らはひそかにクローンの耕平に安楽死の薬を投与する。病院を抜け出したクローンの耕平は、宇宙服を着た自分の死体（の幻）を見つける。 そしてそれを死んだ昇と思い込み、母親・洋子のもとに届けようと故郷をめざすが、投与された薬によって息絶える。

A film like an Impressionist painting; the kind of paintings to have titles like 'urban view from the artist's studio'. The film is largely set in the film-maker's home and the street in the provincial town of Aichi where he lives. Minor everyday incidents are observed poetically; the melancholy mood of the images is boosted by serene electronic music. There is no dialogue; the sound track only comprises streets sounds as well as the music. Loose, almost nonchalant impressions of the street or of cloudy skies are juxtaposed with posed, almost photographic mildly homo-erotic portraits of friends of the film-maker. Tarch Trip is made up of fragments of a cinematographic diary, which are however not edited chronologically. Two periods alternate. One is characterized rain and dark cloudy skies. The other is sunny and repeatedly accompanied by three friends
