3年前の事故で記憶障害と不眠症を患い、精神科に通う少女・泉沢月子。神科医の細野は、彼女の記憶を催眠療法で探り、“トミエ”という名前を聞き出す。しかし月子にはその名前が誰なのか思い出せない。そして、月子の生活に突如として奇怪で恐ろしい出来事が起こりはじめる。そんなある日、警視庁の刑事が細野を訪てくる。彼は川上富江という女性について調べていた。
