Renowned journalist Torgny Segerstedt declares war against Hitler as he criticizes Swedish politicians who tried to look away from the tyranny of the Nazis with the good excuse of “neutralism”. His only weapon is his pen and his life is full of gossip such as an affair with his boss’ wife, a love scandal with a secretary younger than his daughter, and the suicide of his wife. However, he continues to fight a one man battle against Hitler and the Nazi regime until his death, throwing the question “Can one person really change history?” to the audience.

Swedish drama based loosely on a true story. Marten Klingberg plays Peter, an engaged man who finds himself attracted to a gay man called Nassim (Pjotr Giro). Peter's life is suddenly transformed from one of married domestic routine to one of passionate lust and longing for his new gay lover. However, things take a tragic turn when Nassim is discovered dead and Peter is accused of his murder.

"Home Guard and Mumps" is set in the mid-1940s, the farmer Nils Erik Kristersson (Stefan Gerhardsson) farm at Ätran in Falkenberg. He is married to the ill-tempered Mathilda (Siw Carlsson), and together they have daughter Greta. The farm is also home to the försupne toffelmakaren Ola Larsson (Krister Claesson) and the bleating maid Emma (Tina Leijonberg). The farce begins with the second lieutenant Löwendahl (Tommy Juth) and Sergeant Malmberg (Gosta Janson) shows up in the yard to announce that they intend to use the farm for the Home Guard.
The 1930s. Sidner's mother Solveig dies in a very unfortunate bicycle accident involving some cows. Sidner, his sister and his father Aron move to Sunne to work at a hotel. Aron tries hard to leave the sweet memories of his wife behind him but that isn't made easier by the fact that he always meets her ghost. Aron gets himself a pen friend, a young girl in New Zealand called Tessa. He starts to dream of beginning a new life on the other side of the world.
