Shinjiro, who runs a humble detective agency using a coffee shop in a certain town as his office, gets into trouble at a dark gambling den and is forced to take on a troublesome job by Kyoichi, an executive of the Kasahara clan, a yakuza gang he knows well. The task is to investigate an arson case that is suspected to involve the Chinese mafia Barretto, with whom the Kasahara-gumi has a rival gang. In addition, Shinjiro is asked by Michiko, whose Filipino parents were deported in the past, to search for her best friend, a Kurdish woman who mysteriously disappeared. However, as he pursues the two cases, he finds himself caught up in a war between two huge underworld organizations.

In a transient land reside a mother and son. The son is unable to accept the fact that his mother is dying. This is a story of their melancholic journey in search of each other.

Two best friends, Mieko and Makio, end up working a part-time job at the same place. At their new job, they meet a university student, Eiji, who ends up falling for Makio. Despite everyone around them being against the relationship, Mieko decides to watch over them as they grow, and their bonds and relationships gradually change.

プロのバレエダンサーを目指し海外で活動していた美園舞子（29）（瀧本美織）は、夢を諦めて帰国。バレエ以外にやりたいこともなく、国語教師として実家近くの高校で働き始める。しかし夢を諦めたばかりの舞子にとって、夢や希望に溢れた高校という場所は皮肉なものであった。おまけに全く経験のないバレーボール部の顧問にされてしまったり、担任を任されたクラスも個性的な生徒が多く、不安は募るばかり。舞子が担任するクラスの生徒・金子飛鳥（中田青渚）は、バレー部のキャプテンでエース。大学でもバレーを続けるかのように見えた飛鳥は自分の実力を悟り、バレーでの進学を諦めかけていた。同じクラスの佐藤正宗（青木柚）は、常にギターバッグを背負っているが、軽音楽部のある先輩の実力を知り、自分が適わないと察して入部できないでいる。三年生の丸沢百恵（富田望生）は、同級生の光輝に7度告白、何度フラれても光輝のことを諦めきれずにいる。舞子はそんな生徒たちと関わるなかで、それぞれの「夢を諦めること」への葛藤があることを知り、今の自分を見つめ直すようになる。そんな頃、舞子の母・優子（富田靖子）から見せられた小学校の卒業文集。将来の夢はバレエダンサーと書いていると思い込んでいたが、実際は教師になることが夢だと書いてあった。舞子は夢をかなえていたのだ。 ある日の授業中、舞子はとある漢文の言葉に引っ掛かり、唐突に生徒たちに「諦めること」について話し始める。舞子の言葉を受け、それぞれの道を決めた生徒たち。その後、学校の踊り場で、舞子は初めて小さくバレエを踊る。

Seven years after predicting the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake while she was unwittingly involved in a doomsday cult called Sacred Tide, college student Midori (Miki Handa) continues to have visions through unusual powers of premonition. Meanwhile at the same school, the duplicitous Toko (Miki Handa), who desperately seeks to escape her mundane life, suspects her classmate Okita (Yuzu Aoki) of being the culprit behind a string of disturbing cat killings and the murder of a classmate.

What's most important in life always changes and goes away. Winter in 2009, Akiko Shimizu goes to high school in Tokyo as far from home as she can get in with her ability. She is in junior grade. She is always sleep deprived and cannot sleep at home. She goes to her grandma's house where she used to live together and falls asleep there. Akiko, in lack of sleep as usual, meets Yoshida in a train. Although she knows that they never understand each other, she falls in love with someone, spends some time together, and seperate. 監督の川北ゆめきにとって初の長編映画となる本作では、平凡さを嫌う自分勝手で変わり者な器械体操部の“ボク”こと山南くんと、普通に生きる同じ部活のまなみちゃんの愛と青春の10年間が描かれる。
