Priest Giorgi, a former Film Director, is sent to serve the small parish in the mountain village. To bring villagers closer to church he starts showing films there. After the screening of the first picture - "Some Like It Hot" - the audience imply that the local music teacher Lili looks exactly like Marilyn Monroe. After meeting Lili, Father Giorgi's balance between cleric and secular world starts to quiver - the woman is extremely sexy and the temptation is difficult to resist.

A 50-year-old housewife, Manana, struggles with her dilemma - she has to choose between her family life and her passion, writing, which she had repressed for years - she decides to follow her passion and plunges herself into writing, sacrificing to it mentally and physically.

ペレストロイカの時代、ソビエト連邦から独立しようとするジョージアとアブハジアの間で領土をめぐる紛争が起こった。殆どの村人が逃げ去った後、最後の収穫のために残ったイヴォの農園でゲリラ同士の戦闘が始まり、多くの死傷者が出た。イヴォは瀕死の二人を助けて自宅で介抱しようとするが、その二人は敵同士だった。エストニア人で中立の立場にあるイヴォは「俺の家で殺しは許さない」と宣言し、憎み合う二人に手料理を振る舞う。食事を共にし少しずつお互いの事情を理解し始めた二人は、傷が癒えていくとともに和解へ向かうのだが・・・。

After 16 years of imprisonment, 40-years-old Gogliko is released from jail. He doesn't exactly know what he did that deserved 16 years of jail time. A free man, a changed country awaits him. His personal life has drastically altered. His parents have passed and most of his friends have died during the Civil War period. Gogliko realizes that he will not be able to find his place in this "new" Georgia, only thing he has to do is to care about his passed friend's 16-years-old son.

イラクで恋人を失ったジャーナリストのトマス・アンダース(ルパート・フレンド)は、戦場への取材に再び赴くを決め、民族紛争に揺れるグルジアへと向かう。2008年8月8日未明、ロシアの軍事介入によって戦争が始まり、彼はロシア軍の非武装地帯への空爆を告発しようとする。しかし、世間は北京で開催中のオリンピックに目が向いており、この事態を報道しようとするメディアはなかった。

Where is the edge to cruelty and sadism, how much can a person bear in a world of absurd injustice and total ridicule? What can you do when you confront the system?
