子供の時にジャッキー・チェンの映画を見て以来、大の香港映画好きになったケン。好きが高じて、いまでは中華料理店でバイトしている。仕事中も料理の腕を磨くよりもっぱら香港アクションの妄想にふける毎日。そんなある日、ふと立ち寄ったパチンコ屋で幸運にも当てた香港５ツ星ホテル宿泊旅行。が、実際に訪れたホテルは、名前が「５ツ星」の安ホテル。ダマされたと怒りを覚える暇もなく、今度は何者かに思いっきり殴られてしまう。ケンは何がなんだかわからないうちに、巨大コングロマリットを巡る相続問題に関わる陰謀の渦に込まれていた。

Gordon Lam kills a guy who raped his sister. When he gets out of jail he runs into a girl in trouble and they fall in love but she has to go back to USA soon. She is somehow related to a gangster. His best friend has a debt to this gangster. The gangster wants another gangster – who is together with his former girlfriend – killed.

Jason Chan, a Hong Kong lawyer, is angry at the way the law protects criminals and decides to take the law into his own hands, dishing out vigilante justice when a key witness and his entire family are murdered. Sammo and George Lam are partners in crime and they scam some triad big shot out of a load of money and decide to retire. Three years later they both receive letters from Stanley Fung, in which he informs them that he has proof of all their criminal activity and unless they do exactly what he says–he will turn it over to the cops. Fung is an ex-cop himself and is trying to get the goods on the same triad leader that Sammo and George scammed.
