大阪を舞台に描いた群像劇。通称「キタ」と呼ばれる大阪の繁華街で生きるアジア人たちの人生を描く。春のある日、大阪のキタにある古びたアパートの一室で白骨化した老女の死体が発見された。警察は捜査を開始し、アパート周辺で聞き込みを続けるが、孤独死なのか、あるいは財産がらみの謀殺なのか、さまざまな噂が飛び交っていた。同じころ、中国・台湾・韓国の観光客、マレーシアのビジネスマン、ネパールの難民、ミャンマー人留学生、ベトナム人技能実習生など、キタにやってきた外国人たちと、彼らと日常を共有する日本人たちの間に、さまざまな出来事が起こっている。やがて事件の捜査が終わるとき、人びとは新たな人生の岐路を迎える。

Set in a world where people get a "blue mail" missive from their future selves. Kagari randomly meets a runaway girl named Yuki. They set off on a trip for Tokyo and gradually discover each other's past secrets.
新聞配達員で心優しい独り者の中年男性・志朗は、ある夜、若者たちのオヤジ狩りに遭っていた町工場の社長・阪本を成り行きで助ける。翌日、復讐に燃える阪本に「一緒に悪ガキたちを退治しよう」と誘われ、断りきれずオートバイ用のプロテクターで防備して坂本に同行。またしても偶然が重なり、不良少年たちを懲らしめることに成功する。「オヤジ狩りの少年たちが返り討ちにあう」という新聞記事にもなり、密かに思いを寄せている喫茶店の女性店員ユキにも高評価を得たことから、志朗はヒーローとして立ち上がることを決意する。
Doctor
A detective investigates a series of murders. A possible serial killer might be on a rampage, since they all are in the same vicinity and by the same method, but as the evidence points toward the detective as the prime suspect, a ghost in red follows him, and he begins to question his identity. His realization of what seems to have really happened results in something much more sinister and larger in scope, and it leaves his psyche scarred.
