A young street vendor who is a cockfighting aficionado, attracted by the image of one of them, settles on the ranch of its owner where he falls in love with the foreman's daughter. All the problems happen and some that afflicted the ranch in the past are solved by him.

While tracking down the three men that killed his father, a notorious bad-ass commits other misdeeds, seemingly based on his desire to wreck as many lives as possible. Doesn't really have anything to do with the historical figure known as Remington, though they used his name for the character here.

A 17th century woman, imprisoned for fighting in a bar, recounts her past to a priest. She tells of her father teaching her how to fence, of being sent to a convent by her aunt when her father died, of escaping by dressing as a man, and of her life as a man following the escape.
