Rio Kusumo (Dimas Aditya) is a pessimistic young man. One day, he suddenly takes part in a marathon race and meets a girl named Anisa (Olivia Jensen). Anisa invites Rio to run and they must finish the marathon on the slopes of Mount Bromo.

A psychotic executive triggers a journalist's dark side, and they begin to form a strange bond through the internet.

'Isyarat' takes the innovative approach of bringing together five young directors, Asmirandah, who made Teman Bayangan (Shadow friend); Monty Tiwa (Lost and Found); Adhyatmika (Flora); Donny Alamsyah (Tanda Bahaya or Alarm); and Reza Rahadian (Gadis Indigo or Indigo girl), to create a series of separate but interconnected supernatural tales.
