ごく普通の高校生らしい毎日を送っていたネイサン（テイラー・ロートナー）は、ひょんなことから誘拐されたまま消息を断った子どもたちの情報サイトに、13年前の自分の写真が載っているのを発見する。謎や疑念に支配されていくうちに、周囲の人間が何者かによって消されていき、ネイサンも狙われるように。それまでの日常と人生が仕組まれたものであることに気付いた彼は、想像を絶する逃避行を繰り広げながら、すべての謎を解き明かそうとする。潜在的な戦闘能力を発揮し、追手や刺客を倒していく過程で、ある暗号の存在に行き着くが……。
