A small feud with some stereotypical upper class children in red blazers is resolved with a false rape allegation. A case of some stolen money is resolved through Mr. Hedges trusting the class. At the final dance Mr. Hedges is ensnared in the romantic clutches of Miss Cutforth, contrary to his wishes.

Bolt, a British linguist, develops a universal language, so he's a sudden sensation and receives a Nobel prize. An ambitious diplomat, capitalizing on Bolt's celebrity, arranges for the U.S. to commission a statue for a London square to honor Bolt's achievement. Bolt's Italian wife, a renowned artist, sculpts an 18-foot nude of Bolt. In a pique, because he's neglected her for years to do his work, she gives the statue a spectacular phallus, telling Bolt that he wasn't its model. Thinking he's a cuckold, Bolt goes on a jealous search for a man matching the statue. The diplomat, too, wants changes in the statue to protect his conservative image. Can art and love reconcile?

Like the play from which it derived, the film tells of the early struggles of composer Edvard Grieg and his attempts to develop an authentic Norwegian national music. It stars Toralv Maurstad as Grieg and features an international cast including Florence Henderson, Christina Schollin, Robert Morley, Harry Secombe, Oskar Homolka, Edward G. Robinson and Frank Porretta (as Rikard Nordraak). Filmed in Super Panavision 70 by Davis Boulton and presented in single-camera Cinerama in some countries, it was an attempt to capitalise on the success of The Sound of Music.

Stanley is infatuated with Margaret, the statuesque waitress who works with him. He meets George Spiggott AKA the devil and sells his soul for 7 wishes, which Stanley uses to try and make Margaret his own first as an intellectual, then as a rock star, then as a wealthy industrialist. As each fails, he becomes more aware of how empty his life had been and how much more he has to live for.

秘密組織スメルシュによって各国の諜報部員が次々と抹殺されて行く。英情報部は、００７のコードネームを後輩に譲り今では隠居生活を営む元祖ジェームズ・ボンドにスメルシュ打倒を依頼するが……。ショーン・コネリーの００７が人気を博していた当時、唯一版権が製作会社イオン・プロになかった『カジノ・ロワイヤル』をプロデューサー、チャールズ・Ｋ・フェルドマンがコロムビアで映画化した一大パロディ。笑いは泥臭く全く洗練されていないし、５人の監督の個性が裏目に出たのかシーンによっての落差が激しく、お世辞にも良く出来た作品とは言い難いが、とにかく賑やか。呆けて見るにはこれ以上の映画はないだろう。バート・バカラックの音楽は絶品、大ヒット主題歌“愛のおもかげ（Ｌｏｏｋ　ｏｆ　Ｌｏｖｅ）”も素晴らしくサウンドトラックの充実が最大の魅力。

The TARDIS materialises in Paris in the year 1572 and the Doctor decides to visit the famous apothecary Charles Preslin. In this dark comedy, a Yankee goes to visit a family of British eccentrics to ask for the hand of one of their daughters in marriage. He soon finds himself in the midst of a really odd family. One of them talks like Bela Lugosi, another believes herself to be a vampire, while a third is locked away in a padded cell. Another family member is thrilled when he finally invents a horseless carriage (50 years after Ford), and the family grandfather is found reading Playboy just before he dies. Trouble begins when members of the family begin to be mysteriously murdered. The American suitor must then discover which member of the strange family is in line to inherit the family fortune.

H.Gウェルズ"月世界最初の人間"が原作の1964年製作のSF映画。 人類初の月面着陸に成功。全世界が祝祭ムードの中、調査隊は月面にてイギリス国旗と1899年とサインのある置き手紙を発見する。サインの主はキャサリン・カレンダー。事情を聞くべく彼女を探すが彼女は10年前に他界。しかし医療施設で暮らす老齢のベットフォードという男から事の真相を聞くこととなる。 ここから映画はベッドフォードの回想へ。彼と彼の恋人ケート(キャサリン)、科学者カボール3人の月旅行の話が始まる。 月の映画と言えばメリエスの"月世界旅行"の方が知名度は高いし本作のことは知らなかったんだけどたまたま見つけたので借りてみた。 結論から言うと観て良かった。 特撮と初期のショボい合成技術が最高。変な着ぐるみの月の住人セレナイトはキモカワイイ。ウェルズの重力を遮るペーストという発想も自由で楽しい。子供みたいに冒険ものはやはりワクワクしてしまう。 そして、この映画宮崎駿監督インスピレーション受けてるんじゃないかな。て、勝手に思ってしまった。 月の住人の世界の仕組みや原動力、存在する昆虫(王蟲のような)はまるで風の谷のナウシカ。洞窟の中の光る石や重厚で幾何学的な模様の入った扉はラピュタを彷彿させる。この映画に好意を覚えるのは大好きな宮崎駿作品と重ねてしまったからかもしれない

After 10 years of failure a bumbling vet finally graduates and takes on his own practice.
