プロローグ
一人暮らしをする主人公（谷村）はある日、自宅の異変を感じる。上がっているはずのない便座が上がっていたり、触れていないはずの歯ブラシが濡れていたり…。怖くなった主人公は友人（浅野）に泊まりに来てもらうのだが…。

主人公（谷村）は自宅に何者かが不法侵入していると確信、家庭用の監視カメラを設置する。その晩、パソコンでカメラの画像を見るが、誰も何も映っていない。「気のせいか…」。呟きながら映像をスクロールしていると、遂にカメラが侵入者を捕えた。やりたい放題の侵入者の映像を見ていると…。
徳川5代将軍・綱吉の泰平の御代、赤穂浪士たちが吉良上野介を仇討ちするかどうかに関心が集まっていた元禄15年。父親の仇討ちのため、郷里を後にした若侍、青木宗左衛門の江戸暮らしも半年を過ぎ、庶民の町での生活もすっかり板についていた。いつしか自宅の向かいに住む夫を亡くした女性、おさえに恋心を抱くようになった彼だが、実は武士とは名ばかり。剣の腕前がからっきしだめなことが長屋の面々にも知れ渡ってしまう。

Akira Nobi directs this violent two-fisted tale about a pair of abandoned sibling teens who fall into a web of yakuza intrigue. The film opens with young, pretty Maki (Natsuo Ishido) luring a drunken salariman into a parking lot only to be mugged by Maki's brother, Shinji (played by former child star Mitsunori Isaki). Unfortunately, the drunk proves to be no ordinary working stiff, but a gangster who takes a dim view of petty crime.
When a woman whose job is to professionally date men disappears suddenly, a TV crew who wanted to film a documentary about women like her begin searching for her. Coincidentally, a salary-man who saw the disappeared woman and wants to meet her again is found and joins the crew. Together they follow the clues. She has an amulet, which looks like a small bag, which she always hangs from her neck. It contains a piece of the Berlin wall.
