コロラド州に住む中年男のゲイリー。愛国心にあふれる彼は、2001年に起きたアメリカ同時多発テロ事件以降、事件の首謀者とされるビンラディンの居場所をアメリカ政府がなかなか見つけられないことにいらだちを募らせていた。そんなある日、彼は突如、“パキスタンに行って、ビンラディンを捕まえよ”という神の啓示を受ける。使命感に燃える彼は、かくして周囲があきれるのにも一向に構わず、任務の遂行に全力を注ぐ。
