Senapathy, a veteran freedom fighter, is angry. He is angry against the rampant corruption at every level of the bureaucracy. He will clean it up at any cost.
Arunachalam's father
Arun, a married man, has an affair with Priya as he dislikes his wife Leelavathi, who is plain-looking and overweight. When she discovers Arun's affair, she plots with Dr Sakthivel to win Arun back.
Bharath (Arjun), a police officer, is in love with a beautiful woman Priya (Ranjitha). Priya is also a lady police. A terrorist group attacks the state of Tamil Nadu and they kill the current Chief Minister (Kalyan Kumar), and Sriram (Devan), Bharath's brother. Bharath decides to go with some prisoners and his lover in the island where the terrorist group are hidden. This is a secrete and dangerous mission. Whether he will be able to prevent their attacks or will he become a victim himself forms the crux of the story.
Kicha is a modern-day Robin Hood, who along with his friend, Mani, steals from the rich to aid the poor. In society, he is a respected man who runs a small business.
Amma Ponnu (English: Mother's daughter) is a 1993 Tamil romantic drama film directed by Arun. The film features Vignesh and newcomer Akhila in the lead roles, with Nagesh, K. R. Vijaya, Goundamani, Senthil, Ponvannan and Nandagopal playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Kovai M. Murugesan, had musical score by Ekandhan and was released on 9 April 1993.
Muthuvelu lives with his mother Deivanai and his grandfather in a mountainous area. Despite being an educated man, he makes his living harvesting honey using traditional methods. The wicked forest officer Sundaram often gets into fight with Muthuvelu. One day, the city girl Kaveri spots Muthuvelu singing a song and she records it with her video camera, she then sends the video to a TV channel. Muthuvelu's song is telecast by the TV channel, Muthuvelu becomes popular in no time thus he becomes a singer.Muthuvelu goes in search of his father. He finds that his father Ratnasabapathy is now married and has three sons. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
Paramasivan has two sons : Subramani and Ganesan. Ganesan, the eldest, gets married with Segamalam. In the meantime, Subramani and Segamalam's sister Parimala fall in love with each other, even if they are from different villages. Devaraj, the owner of a gambling club, wants to get married with Parimala but she refuses and ridicules him. So Devaraj decides to take revenge. Ganesan is a gambler and he even landed his family's bungalow to Devaraj. Later, Devaraj tries to sell it but Subramani settles the amount at time. Devaraj wants to absolutely split the lovers. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Chokkalingam, an old man, moves out of town after his wife's death and goes to live with Vasu, his nephew in Chennai. However, Vasu struggles to bear the cost of an additional member in his family.
Murugesan
After being forced to vacate her rented house, Sudha decides to build a new house for her family and herself. However, she faces a lot of difficulties owing to rampant corruption and red tape.
