While stealing food at a Russian restaurant called ‘Winter Palace’, Clara meets Marc, who has been given the chance to help the old eatery regain its former glory. The ‘Winter Palace’ soon becomes a place of unexpected encounters between people who are all undergoing some sort of crisis and whom fate has now brought together.

The film takes place somewhere in the Danish countryside in the middle of the 19th century. Here within a small Danish peasant family, harsh circumstances reign. With the prospect of yet another tough winter, the farmer Jens faces an unbearable choice. If the family is to survive the winter, he must settle an agreement with the rich farmer nearby and forsake his own moral as well as his most precious possession, in an effort to secure them all a better life.

William sets out to pay off the debt of his uncle - and perhaps his courage might impress Viola too, a girl from his class.

Life is beautiful, until the day his unknown son Casper turns up and attracts all the attention. It turns out that Casper is the world-famous graffiti artist “The Ghost”. This is a provocation and a challenge to Simon, and the relationship between father and son is put to a serious test. However, against all odds he two slowly grow closer to each other, but the question is whether blood ties are enough? Because after all Simon has no plans of being a father, and Casper has other plans with his father than simply getting to know him…

とある海辺でボトルの中に入った手紙が発見され、コペンハーゲン警察の特別部署「特捜部Q」で未解決事件を取り扱う、はみだし者の刑事カールと相棒のアサド、そして女性秘書のローセが調査に乗り出すことに。手紙はどうやら7〜8年前に書かれたものでインクがにじんでほとんど判読不能だったが、差出人の頭文字Pを手掛かりに調査を進めるうち、エホバの証人の信者たちの子どもを狙った謎の連続誘拐事件が次第に浮上する。

ある捜査で、自らの判断ミスから部下1名が殉職、別の1名は下半身不随となり、また彼自身も重傷を負うという苦い経験を味わった、殺人課の刑事カール。その後彼は、新しく設置された部署「特捜部Q」へと転属されるが、その主たる仕事は未解決事件の残務整理だった。そんな中、彼は、5年前、女性議員のミレーデが船から失踪し、結局自殺として片づけられていた不審な事件に興味を抱き、助手のアサドとともに再調査を始める。

During Nazi occupation, red-headed Bent Faurschou-Hviid ("Flame") and Jørgen Haagen Schmith ("Citron"), assassins in the Danish resistance, take orders from Winther, who's in direct contact with Allied leaders. One shoots, the other drives. Until 1944, they kill only Danes; then Winther gives orders to kill Germans. When a target tells Bent that Winther's using them to settle private scores, doubt sets in, complicated by Bent's relationship with the mysterious Kitty Selmer, who may be a double agent. Also, someone in their circle is a traitor. Can Bent and Jørgen kill an über-target, evade capture, and survive the war? And is this heroism, naiveté, or mere hatred?
