夏真っ盛り、春風高校光画部恒例の“大撮影旅行”の季節がやってきた。もともと貧しいはずなのに何故に撮影旅行が???と思いきや、鳥坂先輩が某旅行社主催のスタンプツアーを丸ごと“大撮影旅行”に利用していたのだ！ このツアー東京駅発～熱海・伊東～豊橋経由伊那市駅までのスタンプを全て集め成功したら旅費がタダになる。といういかにも光画部がとびつきそうな企画。ところが、このツアーを主催したのは、あの光画部の宿敵西園寺まりいのお家、西園寺グループだった！ それでなくてもギリギリの制限時間だというのに、光画部OBの旅は…？

2009年、地球は異星人ゼントラーディとの交戦状態に陥った。避難民5万8000人を乗せ、それ自体が宇宙都市ともいえる巨大宇宙戦艦マクロスは、太陽系外縁から地球へ帰還すべく旅を続けていた。そんなある日、艦内に敵が侵入、若き戦闘機パイロット一条輝は、襲われていた民間人の女性を危機一髪のところで救出する。なんと彼女は、人気歌手のリン・ミンメイだった。この救出劇を機に、2人は親しくなっていく。
