アイドルグループのチャムに所属する霧越未麻は突如グループ脱退を宣言し、女優への転身を計る。ドラマ出演でレイプシーンを演じ、さらにはヘアヌードのオファーが来るなど、アイドル時代からは考えられなかったような仕事をこなしてゆく未麻。しかし、未麻は現状への不満を募らせ、アイドル時代の自分の幻影さえ見るようになる。そんな疑問を抱く中、未麻はストーカーに監視されていることに気づく。また、未麻の周辺で関係者が次々と殺される事件が発生する。

近未来、高齢化が進んだ社会に対応するため厚生省が開発した老人介護機械・自己増殖機能をもつ第6世代コンピュータ「Z001号機」。だが、このコンピュータはサンプルに選ばれた老人を取り込み暴走。ボランティア女子大生やマスコミを巻き込んでの大騒動となる。
