人間世界とよく似た、動物だけが暮らす世界。コアラのバスターが劇場支配人を務める劇場は、かつての栄光は過去のものとなり、取り壊し寸前の状況にあった。バスターは劇場の再起を賭け、世界最高の歌のオーディションの開催を企画する。極度のアガリ症のゾウ、ギャングの世界から足を洗い歌手を夢見るゴリラ、我が道を貫くパンクロックなハリネズミなどなど、個性的なメンバーが人生を変えるチャンスをつかむため、5つの候補枠をめぐってオーディションに参加する。

The luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain is a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side, and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz to the much coveted Pirate of the Year Award. It’s a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist, but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!

サンタクロースの息子で次男坊のアーサーは、誰よりもクリスマスを愛しているが不器用で、今は手紙係としてサンタ宛ての手紙を読み、心をこめた返事を書いていた。そしてクリスマスイブの日。英国のコーンウォール州の小さな町、トレルーに住むグウェンという女の子がリクエストしたピンクの自転車が、ラッピング担当の妖精ブライオニーのミスで配達されていないことが分かる。アーサーは彼女に自転車を届けるため出発する。

Paris, 1910. Emile, a shy movie projectionist, and Raoul, a colourful inventor, find themselves embarked on the hunt for a monster terrorizing citizens. They join forces with Lucille, the big-hearted star of the Bird of Paradise cabaret, an eccentric scientist and his irascible monkey to save the monster, who turns out to be an oversized but harmless flea, from the city's ruthlessly ambitious police chief.
