Screenplay
ある時代、ある山の奥深い吹雪の夜。猟師の巳之吉は、山小屋で雪女が仲間の茂作の命を奪う現場を目撃してしまう。雪女は“このことを口外したら、お前の命を奪う”と言い残して姿を消す。翌年、茂作の一周忌法要の帰り道。巳之吉は、美しい女ユキと出会う。やがて2人は結婚し、娘のウメが生まれる。それから14年。美しく聡明な少女に成長したウメは、村の有力者の息子で病弱な幹生のよき話し相手となっていた。幹生は茂作の遠縁だったが、ある日、茂作が死んだ山小屋で幹生が亡くなる。しかも、幹生の遺体には、茂作と同じような凍傷の跡があった。巳之吉の脳裏に蘇る14年前の出来事。果たして、巳之吉が見たものは何だったのか？そしてユキは一体何者なのか…？
