Kazuya Naruse, an obedient programer falls for a girl "Rumi", whom he gets to know through chat rooms. Naruse lost himself in this love, as if he lives in another world. Rumi has a mentally ill husband. Spending time with these two, the illusion of love in Naruse gradually changes to uneasiness and insanity.

10 high school students including Yuka Kabayama are suddenly led to a room and must play the jinrou game. Yuka Kabayama has the jinrou card. She has to hide that fact and kill the players who have the citizens cards one by one. Yuka Kabayama gets excited by her situation.

Airi is a high school student. On the way home from school, Airi is kidnapped by someone. Then, 9 more high school students are all kidnapped like Airi. Those kidnapped students are forced to participate in Jinroh Game, with their lives at stake.

Hiro, an unpopular comedian, lives with his girlfriend Kano, an editor. Hiro starts to distance himself from Kano with fewer live appearances and Satoyama, a seasoned comedian, drags him around. Kano is given a picture book during an interview with an author, Kaminuma. The tragedy of a princess' death in the book illustrate the troubled marriage between Kaminuma and his wife, Mizu. After reading the book, Kano imagines a happy ending by pretending Hiro as the King and herself as the princess. Fate changes when the picture book and reality collide... A love story for the new century.

Akira Okuda worked as an assistant at the Visual Concept Planning Department of Kanagawa University of Arts, accomplishing his work aimlessly without passion. Sorrounded by students who continually caused problems and professors who cared only about their position in the university. One day, three students attempted to steal film equipment from the vault. Fearing the news would reach the university office, the professors ordered Akira to cover up the attempted theft. But, little did he know more was about to happen...

Negiko tries to commit suicide, but at that moment the ghost Mariko Rose appears.

Taro, who recently graduated from high school, doesn't know what he wants to do. He rents a house and plot of land in the country-side determined to make a living in agriculture. His expectation is great as the girl he likes, Yoko, will also go with him, but his father, recently laid off by his company's down-sizing, is also tagging along and so begins the the trio's strange life in the country. Set at a solitary house in the middle of the desolate, country-side, the relaxed tempo and off-hand humor are impressive despite the themes of parent-progeny conflict and reconciliation that unfold in the film.
